Below is the development (look from right to left, top to bottom), and the biggest is the final logo that i think is best.

This second one is the small version of the logo.
The thing is, i've applied them both to an envelope, and to me, it actually looks OK on its own (without the box).
What do you guys think?
that's excellent man. i think we should keep the box, because it keeps that bled bracket feeling going (which plays an important part on the visual language). It might feel too 'blocky' because it's b&w, but it can change once we start playing with the colour.
